Buenos Aires, November 19 (NA) -- In an audio message released yesterday, coinciding with the judicial resolution ordering the seizure of her assets in the 'Vialidad' case, former President Cristina Kirchner commemorated Peronist Militant's Day, drawing a parallel between the persecutions of Juan Domingo Perón and those she believes the peronism is currently facing.

The audio, recorded the evening of November 17 and sent to a rally of militants in Lomas de Zamora, was accessed by the Noticias Argentinas news agency.

In the message, Kirchner called to "rebuild trust" and return to the roots of peronism, emphasizing the need for "proximity militancy" over virtual one.

"We have to understand again how we must relate to each other to rebuild trust above all else," the message seeks to reinforce the narrative of 'lawfare' and proscription, equating her current situation with the historical exclusion of peronism after 1955.

Additionally, she vindicated personal contact as an indispensable tool: "It is necessary to revalue, in 2.0 times, territorial militancy, which is nothing else—I call it—proximity militancy [...] We have to go back to that, to the roots, to the history. The militancy of talking, of sharing problems and joys too."

The timing of the audio's release—exactly on the day the seizure resolution was made public—was interpreted by Kirchnerist leaders as an immediate political response to the judicial advance.

In it, Kirchner recalled Perón's return to Argentina on November 17, 1972, after 18 years in exile, and stated: "Today is a very special day because it marked the return of General Perón to the Homeland after 18 years of persecution, proscription, and exile. Persecution and proscription: the eternal recipe for attacking peronism. Any similarity with the present is not casual, but directly causal, clearly."

With this phrase, the former head of state alluded indirectly to the legal cases against her, in particular the firm conviction for fraudulent administration in the 'Vialidad' case, which led to the order of the Oral Court in Criminal and Federal Matters No. 2 to seize assets for an updated amount of 684,990 million pesos, including properties in her name and ceded to her children Máximo and Florencia Kirchner, as well as assets linked to businessman Lázaro Báez.
